                 Another day for the sunglasses

Happy week-end to everyone.  'Tis another great day in the north woods and that calls for more pool time. Looking forward to it. We met up with the rest of the group that we spend the week-end with at Chula and some new people but the group keeps dwindling. It seems that people are not into community anymore. This is such a great deal as we get 6 meals a piece, room and waterpark for about $119 a day. I checked on the internet and this room goes for $209 with just the wrist bands included.

Good Morning Illinois!!!

Today is Saturday, a day of fun, a day to enjoy and lay back, a day to........ Ok, you get my meaning.

What is on your agenda today??

I want to change sheets, pick up the bedroom, and the kitchen, make Dawn's chicken, and clean up my scrapebooking area ( meaning to condense stuff, so I can see what I have). Maybe a quick trip to the $ Store. We will see what really gets done.

Yesterday, we went to Bloomington, to see Monica and Scott. Hubert is helping Scott build a deck on the back of thier house. Monica and I, along with another lady, woked on a scrapebook for thier Rainbow Girls. A productive day, all around. We will be going down on Sunday too.

Christine, do you ever stop at the Madison Farmers Market on your way to or from the Dells. It is one of the biggest ones I have seen.

Deb and Dawn, I am sure everything will work out with your boys.

Lisa, no we only have one thing on our minds when we go home and that is home. The state capital is about 5 miles from the highway and is heavily travelled at that time of day and we are not into fighting the traffic nor want to look for a parking place when we get there. Also, I think that the market is on Saturday & Sunday's and we do not leave until Monday. We have been to it in the past but we were staying at the Concord Hotel right there at the square.

Christine - where did you find such a wonderful deal in the Dells??  I would love to take my family ++ there without breaking the bank!  Enjoy the rest of your visit.
Lisa - I have so much scrapbooking supplies, however, I have not used them in so long.  One of the negative self talk damage I did/still do at times was telling myself that what I create was ugly.  It is amazing what damage we can do to ourselves.  Thanks for the kind words regarding my boy.  I am sure once he sees how hard it is out there, his tune will change.  Maturity has a way of opening up eyes!

Today here my daughter has a party from noon to 6 at Independence Grove.  I am glad it will not be in the 90's today.  We need to go buy the young girl a b-day present.  Going to get a gift card from Charming Charlie's.  Great shop at reasonable prices.
Tonight, I am meeting up with some co-workers and we are going to see Rock of Ages at the movies.  I am sure the movie will be silly but the music will be great!!  It will be all we can do to not burst out in song at the theater!!!  I don't care, I like Tom Cruise!!!

Debbie, we are part of a group called The Telephone Pioneers. These are people that have work in the Bell System for years and years. The Pioneers negotiate the package and we just keep coming back and have seen this resort make many changes in the 14 years since we first started coming. Many in the group have been coming for close to 30 years for this week-end.

By the way - for future reference one does not have to have been a former/current employee of the Bell System - anyone can come and enjoy the week-end with our group. All I need is a mailing address so the form can be sent out when the ressies are being made in the early part of the year.

That sounds wonderful!!  I will privately message you on fb with my address.  I would love to know about these weekends!!  My mom use to work for ma bell back in the 50's... does that count??!!

I have been a busy little beaver today.  I got up and took Beemer into the groomers at 9am.  He looks much better but was not on his best kitty behavior for them.  Bad kitty!  While Beemer was being groomed I went and did weekly shopping for groceries and other supplies so that is out of the way.  Came home, got stuff put away and went to fetch Beemer.  Now back home with no further plans for the weekend!  

Chris, it sounds like you are getting plenty of sun and pool time -- Enjoy!

Lisa, you are busy as usual but enjoy your visit tomorrow with Monica, Morgan and Scott.

Got up late.  6:30am.  Been goofing off all morning with my computer, fb, email, posting pics.

Think I will walk over to Walgreens for some supplements and to the Family veggie store but not really thinking beyond that though I would like to take Sherry down to Myopic Boots and maybe a snack in that area.  North, Damen, Milwaukee.

I thouhgt I would stop in. Im going to be a Chigoan for a week or so in about 10 days. Im driving to Chicago with my husband. he is flying to Denver on Wednesday to surprise his old boss for his old bosses retirement party. i baught my husband a ticket. i havnet seen my husband for over a month. ive been in Denver visiting my gal pals.
I went to see my surgeon and I have a nother femeral hernia that needs to be fixed?!!!!! I think maybe we will drive back to ?denver after we go to c/hicago and do it. /well will see. My air condition took a nose dive when I was driving to Denver in may but I got it fixed and 500.00 later. i am fine.
We will be in Chicago for a week to visit my daughter. We arent moving there!!!!!
may daughter is excited Im coming she hasnt seen her old mom since November!!!!!
